Swindon Town`s owners are having talks with Andrew Fitton`s consortium in an effort to restart takeover talks.
Fitton`s consortium withdrew its bid yesterday to take over majority shareholding of the debt ridden club. Fitton`s team would have taken on all the clubs debts, whilst paying off the CVA and the Inland Revenue.
It is understood that James Wills has personally gone to the County Ground today to rescue the deal.
It would appear by these talks that the Wills family may have conceeded defeat and will accept the terms Fitton and the Wills family had originally agreed.
