Trust STFC’s ambitious plans to have 5,000 travelling supporters make the pilgrimage to the Ricoh Arena in 2 weeks time seems to have hit the buffers.

As of Friday, Town sold under 1,000 tickets to the fixture this is despite cut price travel from both SAS Travel and the Tap And Barrel pub in Manchester Road.

Both companies are offering travel for a tenner however it appears that the Trust will have to up their game if they are going to get half of the 5K figure they wanted.

Town took over 3,000 fans to the Ricoh Arena 3 seasons ago to see Town beat Coventry in Kevin McDonald’s first match in charge of Town.
