Swindon Town made three signings yesterday on deadline day, Marlon Pack, Bradley Wright-Phillips and Danny Green. The only problem is, they won’t be playing for the club.

As the FA have not approved the sale of the club to a new consortium, the Football League refused to approve any loan deals on transfer deadline day effectively meaning the club are back under an embargo.

The ’embargo’ will be lifted once the new owners pass the ‘fit and proper persons test’. After this time, the players will be free to join Town.

It is thought all three players could arrive when the emergency loan window re-opens on the 8th February.
