Swindon chairman Lee Power has confirmed the club will meet with Nile Ranger and his management in the coming days to confirm the sacking of the striker who has shown a complete lack if respect towards the club.

Ranger has immense talent and is possibly the best number 9 in League One but the striker has constantly missed training and gone AWOL over the last couple if months.

Power confirmed that Town have tried everything to get Ranger’s head back in the game but grew fed up with his attitude leasing up to his trial for rake which he has denied.

Power told the Swindon Advertiser “I`m the chairman of the club and I`ve got to do what`s best for the club. Unfortunately, what`s best for the club is having to sit down with Nile and talk about parting ways. While this is ongoing Nile is not training with the squad.’

I’m sure Nile will be gutted about not having to train!
