Swindon Town managed to blow a 1-0 lead in the 94th minute when Tommy Mooney scored the goal that made sure Swindon remain 4th in the League 2 Table. Referee D’Urso appeared to miss a definate penalty chance when Wycombe handled the ball and then tripped Royce Brownlie as he went to chase the ball.

The first half was pretty evenly matched however Swindon suffered a big blow on the 13th minute as Lee Peacock had to leave the game with an injury. Christian Roberts came on to replace him.

The first half was all Wycombe and whenever Tommy Mooney touched the ball the 1500 plus Swindon fans booed and jeered him.

Swindon got a massive boost when star striker Jermaine Easter on the 29th minute with a groin injury. Both teams went into the break square.

On the 51st Minute Royce Brownlie sent the Swindon fans wild with his 2nd goal of the season a good effort with lots of control which slipped past keeper Batista.

Town’s Fola Onibuje would hit the woodwork late in the game. Chants of “We are top of the league” and “Mooney whats the score” came from the travelling Swindon army.

Tommy Mooney then in the 94th minute converted a Kevin Betsy cross to seal a point against Swindon.

Swindon Town manager Dennis Wise was irrate that the penalty appeals from the players were turned down and had words with the referee after the game.

Swindon sit 4th in the League 2 table now going into their game against Boston United on Saturday.

    Personnally I’d prefer we remain a couple of points behind the leaders till the end of season then on the final run in go top. Being on top now, teams step up their game, or pack their defence.
