Swindon Town jump to 16th in the League One table and are now out of relegation for the first time since September with a stunning Jamie Cureton Goal..

Player Ratings

Rhys Evans
Didn’t have too much to do however was his usual reliable self. Was booked for unsporting behaviour

Jack Smith
Very pacy and finally starting to show potential. Will be valuable asset as the back

Andy Nicholas
MOTM – Was fantastic on the wing. Is great to see how far along the ex Liverpool man has come this season under Iffy Onuora. Certainly needs to be offered a new contract.

Jerel Ifil
As usual as of late was strong at the back. Is playing less hoofball since the departure of Cureton

Sean O’Hanlon
Same as Ifil has done well to win balls in the back.

Ricky Shakes
Another great performance. Put loads of crosses in. Shame Cureton and Peacock could not convert them.

Paul Smith
Injured just before half time. Looked lively and had something to prove to Gillingham who passed on offering him a permanent contract.

Andy Gurney
Worked hard but didn’t do anything to really get the team going.

Aaron Brown
Looked good again. Was unlucky not to score early in the second half.

Lee Peacock
Worked his socks off. very pacy gave 100% all game. Unlucky not to score.

Jamie Cureton
What can we say. Another goal well taken. Showing what he can do now he gets proper service since the departure of Fallon. Was unlucky not to score more.

Stefani Miglioranzi
Came on for an injured Paul Smith. Was usual reliable self. Put in some good tackles.

Christian Roberts
Got an amazing reaction when he came on the pitch. Looked great when he came on very lively.

Iffy Onuora Reaction

Manager Rating
8/10 – Iffy Onuora has worked wonders since he has brought in his own players to the club. Has finally got the club out of relegation for the first time since September 2005. Certainly has to be with a look in for Manager Of the Month This season.

Ronnie Jepson Reaction

The goal was a Sunday morning goal. It was just a straight punt and a flick-on.”

I don’t think it was a red card by any stretch of the imagination.”

Iffy Onuora Reaction

I’m pleased with the position. But the reality says we have to do it all again,”

Rotherham will be another tough game. We’ll sit down and go through this win before starting again.”
