A Sunday newspaper has stated that Nottingham Forest are interested in making Swindon Town boss Paul Sturrock manager.

Forest currently sit 15th in the League One table after their win over Port Vale over the weekend.

Sturrock stated last week he was not interested in leaving Swindon Town and wanted to manager the club a while longer after he was linked with the then vacant Leicester City Job.

If Sturrock were to head to Forest, Swindon fans would more than likely want Colin Calderwood to head back to Wiltshire where he enjoyed great success as a player early in his career.

Rumours started that Calderwood was about to lose his job at Forest due to the clubs poor start to the season, the win Saturday against Port Vale may have given the man known as “The Fridge” in Swindon a bit more time to turn things around.

He needs to stay with you, you have already lost a great manager last season and you need to do everything to keep hold of Sturrock.
