Swindon Town manager Paul Sturrock has applauded the 10,000 fans who showed up to the County Ground to see the home team, Swindon Town beat local rivals Bristol Rovers 2-1.

‘The crowd were fantastic today and it was magnificent to have over 10,000 in the ground and long may it continue.’ Sturrock said.

  • Yes and we got the result we wanted. Shame about the morons who took it in their tiny minds to hurl seats… wonder what they want to be when they grow up. All that kinda stuff when out of football years ago.

  • Taking it too far, banter is one thing but someone could have been seriously hurt. I don’t think the club actually did enough to stop something like this happening, Rovers should have all been kept in the stratton bank. I know we are short of cash but putting fans at risk is something wlse.
