David Stroud and Leigh Henry have been released by Swindon Town.
Spaeaking to the media after Town’s 1-1 draw with Notts County Manager Paul Sturrock said, ‘I won’t be lengthening the deals of Stroud and Henry. It would be easy for me to given them more time but I don’t want them to become squad players here. I will help them all I can and I hope they go and prove me wrong one day.’
Stroud and Henry had been on 6 month deal’s with Swindon Town.
Henry is the son of former Swindon Town great Charlie Henry whilst Stroud made a few first team appearances under former manager Iffy Onuora.
Stoud like Henry was the son of a former Swindon Town great, Kenny Stroud.
