Danny Wilson has been forced to recall midfielder Michael Timlin from his loan spell at League Two outfit Southend United.

With Swindon currently looking worryingly poor at this moment and with the absence of influential captain Jonathan Douglas and Simon Ferry, Wilson has been forced to bring the former Fulham trainee back to the County Ground.

In an interview with the official Swindon Town website Timlin expressed his delight at becoming popular with the fans at Roots Hall and declared that gratitute to former Swindon Town boss Paul Sturrock and former Salisbury City manager Tommy Widdrington for the opportunity of first team football.

However, he also acknowledge that he was looking forward to returning to action with Swindon.

Timlin is likely to feature against Plymouth Argyle in the F.A. Cup.
