A brace from Charlie Austin and a single effort by David Prutton was enough to see off 2. Bundesliga side Karlsruher SC this evening in Town’s second and final game on their Austrian trip.

Karlsruher took the lead through Nigerian teenager Macauley Chrisantus after 16 minutes but Town levelled through Charlie Austin four minutes later.

Swindon Town took the lead on 43 minutes through new signing David Prutton. However, KSC managed to equalise a minute later through French midfielder Gaetan Kerbs.

HALF-TIME: Swindon Town 2-2 Karlsruher SC

Town took the lead for the second time thanks to Charlie Austin who seems to be following on last seasons form after a close range effort.
