It’s not rare for Swindon Town to experience a long winded transfer saga but in the case of midfielder David Prutton it looks as though it’s finally about to end.

The former Nottingham Forest, Southampton, Leeds United and Colchester United midfielder has been linked with a move for a couple of weeks without the transfer being concluded.

Over a week ago Danny Wilson spoke to the media about how happy he was that Prutton was set to sign leaving many to worry due to the Theo Robinson saga last summer (Robinson agreed to sign for Town before joining Huddersfield Town instead).

However, the Click Here believe that Prutton will link up with his new team mates tomorrow for the first day of pre-season training.

Or will there be a twist in the tale? Prutton is not expected to remain with Colchester United but Brighton and Hove Albion were also keen for his signiture.

For your sake I hope that he keeps his temper in check.

Get over it! He was only book 6 times and sent off once during 20 games at Colchester United 🙂
