Tottenham Hotspur forward Jonathan Obika is expected to join Swindon Town in time for the midweek fixture with Leyton Orient next week reports BBC Radio Wiltshire.

The 20 year old frontman is a gradute of Spurs’ youth team and played for the first team in the UEFA Cup games against NEC Nijmegen and Shakhtar during the 2008/09 season.

Since then Obika has spent much time out on loan with two loan stints with Yeovil Town and further spells with Millwall, Crystal Palace and Peterborough United.
