This weekend will see Swindon Town welcome Nottingham Forest for a pre-season friendly (Saturday Kick-Off 1500).
1. Lee Camp
Former England Under-21 goalkeeper who started his career with Forest’s old friends Derby County where he played 89 times between 2002 and 2007.
During his time with Derby he went out on loan to Burton Albion, Norwich City and two spells at Queens Park Rangers. The second spell resulted in a permanent switch.
While at Loftus Road, Camp was a regular but couldn’t turn down the opportunity to move to Forest in 2009 after a successful loan spell at the City Ground.
4. Luke Chambers
Kettering born defender who started his career at Northampton Town where he played 124 times.
Chambers moved to Forest in 2007 and has recently past the 100+ appearance mark.
5. Wes Morgan
A native of Nottingham, Wes Morgan is a product of the Forest youth system.
Despite being only 26 years of age the defender has already over 280 league appearances for Forest to his name.
6. Kelvin Wilson
Another Nottingham born player. Wilson started his career down the road with Notts County before moving to Preston North End in 2006.
His time at Deepdale was not successful and soon returned to Nottinghamshire with Forest for £300,000 in 2007.
Since then Wilson has made over 100 appearances for Forest and was rumoured to be interesting Celtic.
7. Paul Anderson
Was highly rated as a youngster when Liverpool bought him from Hull City as a teenager in 2006.
He failed to break into league set-up at Anfield but enjoyed impressive spells on loan at Swansea City and Nottingham Forest.
The winger signed for Forest on a permanent basis last summer in a £250,000 deal.
8. Lewis McGugan
Popular midfielder has close 100 league appearances for his hometown club.
9. Dele Adebola
Veteran forward who started his career with Crewe Alexandra and has also played for Bangor City (loan), Northwich Victoria (loan), Birmingham City, Oldham Athletic (loan), Crystal Palace, Coventry City, Burnley (loan), Bradford City (loan) and Bristol City before joining Forest.
10. Robert Earnshaw
Prolific goalscorer who started out with Cardiff City where he scored 86 goals in 183 games for the Bluebirds.
Since leaving Wales in 2006, Earnshaw has drifted in and out of the top flight playing for West Bromwich Albion, Norwich City and Derby County before moving to Forest in 2008.
11. Nathan Tyson
Started his career with hometown club Reading before moving to Wycombe Wanderers where he was prolific. He moved to the City Ground in 2006 and has 31 goals in close to 150 outings.
12. Garath McCleary
Rejected by Oxford United as a youth, he started his senior career with Slough Town before moving to Bromley in 2006. Colin Calderwood took McCleary into the Football League in 2008 where he hasn’t looked out of place.
15. Chris Cohen
Popular with the masses at the City Ground. Cohen first arrived at Forest from Yeovil Town along with Aaron Davies in 2007.
Cohen has since become an essential part of the Forest side. He started his career with West Ham United
16. Chris Gunter
A Wales international full back who started his career with Cardiff City before a high profile switch to Tottenham Hotspur in 2008.
It didn’t work out for Gunter at White Hart Lane but has settled into the Nottingham Forest set-up after impressing during an initial loan spell.
17. David McGoldrick
Started his career with Notts County before linking up with Southampton’s academy set-up in 2004.
McGoldrick played 64 times for the Saints plus loan stints with Notts County, Bournemouth and Port Vale before returning to Nottingham with Forest in 2009.
18. Paul McKenna (capt.)
Vastly experienced player who joined Forest in 2009 after 12 years and over 400 appearances with Preston North End.
He is Forest’s club captain.
19. Guy Moussi
French midfielder who started his carrer with Angers SCO where he played over 100 times which earned him his move to England with Nottingham Forest.
21. Paul Smith
Experienced goalkeeper who started out with Non-League side Walton & Hersham before spells with Charlton Athletic and Carshalton Athletic.
Smith returned to the Football League with Brentford in 2000 where he played 87 times which earned him a move to Southampton.
He was mostly an understudy with the Saints but has 120 league appearances since joining Forest in 2006.
23. Dexter Blackstock
The forward started his career as a youth with his hometown club Oxford United before joining the academy at Southampton in 2002.
Blackstock was mainly used as a substitute at Southampton and spent time with Plymouth Argyle and Derby County on loan before joining Queens Park Rangers on a permanent basis in 2006.
He played over 100 times for QPR scoring 30 goals before joining Forest.
26. Matt Thornhill
21 year old midfielder is yet another Nottingham native!
Thornhill has 38 Forest outings to his name and has spent time with Brighton & Hove Abion and Cheltenham Town loan.
28. Radosław Majewski
Signed on a permanent basis this summer after a very successful loan spell last season.
The international midfielder played for Znicz Pruszków, Dyskobolia Grodzisk and Polonia Warsaw in his native Poland before moving to England.
29. Julian Bennett
25 year old Nottingham born full back who started his career with Birmingham based outfit Walsall where he played 51 times before a move home to Nottingham Forest in 2006.
He’s a crowd favourite but has suffered with injuries.
33. Joel Lynch
Former Brighton & Hove Albion defender who joined Forest after a successful loan spell.
37. Brendan Moloney
Currently a Republic of Ireland Under-21 international.
The 21 year old has spent his entire professional career with Forest. However, he has spent much time out on loan with Chesterfield, Rushden & Diamonds, Notts County and Scunthorpe United.
38. Karl Darlow
Youngster who is currently 3rd choice at the City Ground.
