Recently released attacking midfielder Lloyd Macklin has joined Torquay United.

Macklin made 11 first team league appearances for Swindon Town while he is acknowledged at the clubs youngest ever player to have played a competitive game for the club after playing in a JPT tie against Brentford in 2007 aged just 16 years and 33 days.

Still only 18 years old, Macklin joins the club he spent a month on loan to during the second half of last season.
