Swindon Town left-back Callum Kennedy has talked of his relief about his return to first team action after 10 months on the sidelines.

The former youth player replaced Michael Rose during the 1-1 draw with Brentford last Saturday and performed well.

Talking to the Swindon Advertiser Kennedy stated that ‘just to get back out and play is a good feeling… You`ve always got to be prepared for everything and when your chance comes you have to try to take it.’

Kennedy will now look to push Rose for the left-back position in Danny Wilson’s side.
