Former Bristol City winger Jennison Myrie-Williams trained with Swindon Town this week as he searches for a new club.

Myrie-Williams was set to join Oxford United but a permanent deal fell through after Town’s bitter rivals were prevented from fielding the player this season as Myrie-Williams had played with both Dundee United and St. Johnstone during the campaign.

London born Jennison Myrie-Williams started his career within Bristol City’s Academy and went on to help Gary Johnson’s side win promotion to The Championship.

However, he failed to break into the City side in the 2nd tier and therefore spent much time out of loan with Cheltenham Town, Tranmere Rovers, Carlisle United and Herefore United.

He joined Dundee United in 2009 and moved on to St. Johnstone last summer.
