Swindon Town look set to extend the loan spell of Ben Gladwin from Queens Park Rangers.

The midfielder who was sold to QPR from Swindon in the Summer for £3 million has struggled to get into QPR’s first team and R’s manager Chris Ramsay told the press on Friday that he would be happy for Gladwin to remain at the County Ground.

‘We would consider it at the moment,” said Ramsey.

“We`ve got players who are playing, and we`re hoping to revitalise the likes of Junior Hoilett back from his international duty.

‘If they`re all firing, Ben won`t come back and be in the squad.’

Gladwin has enjoyed his time back in Wiltshire and has said previously he would be happy to stay to get first team football.
