STFC: Cuthbert Upsets the Town Faithful

Scott Cuthbert has criticised a small minority of Swindon Town’s fanbase after receiving abuse following the clubs 1-0 loss at Plymouth Argyle.

The loss meant that Swindon dropped to the bottom of a division which includes a team with a 10 point deduction!

So with that in mind you can understand why fans are perhaps unwilling to applaud the sides current situation.

Cuthbert stated that ‘so-called fans want to come to the games they need to support us’. Cue the usual ‘we pay the money so we’ll do what we want’ retort.

Oh what a mess we are in.

if i am honest i do agree with Cuthbert on this one… the deem aren’t doing too well and the fans not getting on board adds to the problem… when at home the fans should be a 12th man for the home club… but our fans are making it easier for the other teams…

By all accounts the team are not playing really badly… they just need that confidence in front of goal and the fans support could be what’s needed!

just my opinion and am sure many people will disagree with me!

Good post Nick. I think there a valid arguments to both sides. Fans have the right to dish it out but sometimes they’re/we’re going to get some some stick back.
