STFC: Al-Sadd 1-1 Swindon Town

Swindon Town’s first game in Austria resulted in a 1-1 draw with Qatari outfit Al-Sadd this evening.

The Middle Eastern side took the lead after only 9 minutes after Afif Ali finished a quick break.

However, Town were level less than five minutes later when Vincent Pericard was brought down in the box.

It was Pericard who stepped up and he converted the penalty kick.
