STEVE EVANS: ‘Town Want Ademano’

Talking exclusively to the official Crawley Town website, the Red Devils manager Steve Evans (who famously had three spells with Boston United) revealed that Danny Wilson had made an approach for their centre forward Charlie Ademano.

Evans states that ‘Danny Wilson has been talking to me for a few days now in relation to our young striker’.

Ademano, 21, was previously a professional with Southend United former being released last Summer. He failed to play a league fixture for the Shrimpers but spent many months out on loan with Bishop’s Stortford, Cambridge United, Welling United, Rushden & Diamonds and two spells with Wiltshire outfit Salisbury City.

The young forward then joined Crawley and has scored 5 times in 15 outings including a speedy hat-trick against Grays Athletic – Ademano scored in the 2nd, 6th and 6th minute!

Walsall and Milton Keynes Dons have both reportedly declared interest but Wilson has had a bid refused by Evans who continued by saying that ‘Wilson put a proposal to me for Charlie but that was rejected after I consulted with my bosses. Danny and myself have spoken a number of times since and its now at the point that I must now be on speed dial on Danny Wilson`s mobile phone… Danny has confirmed he will be back to me after he has had time to discuss this further with his chairman.’
