Swindon Town reserve goalkeeper Phil Smith has signed a new two year deal with the club.

Smith, Town’s longest serving senior player, was signed by Dennis Wise in the summer of 2006 after leaving Non-League Crawley Town.

The 30 year old goalkeeper started his career with Millwall where he made a handful of first team appearances during his time at the New Den before being released in 2001.

Upon leaving Millwall Smith dropped into Non-League football playing for Folkestone Invicta, Dover Athletic, Margate and Crawley Town before joining then League Two Swindon.
