Shana Haji has arrived at the County Ground on trial and featured in Swindon Town’s reserve team that drew 3-3 with Cheltenham Town this evening.

Haji is a highly rated midfield player who was most recently with Scottish Premier League Side Hibernian.

Haji is the younger brother of Sharu Naraji who plays at Championship side Sheffield United.

Haji has played for a number of clubs so far including Real Zaragoza and has been capped at the Under 17 and Under 20 levels for Iran.

The 19 year old was offered a contract by Norwegian Premier League club Tromso after impressing on trial however he later turned this down to stay with Esteghlal who are based in Iran.

Haji made the perfect start for Swindon this evening by scoring a goal in Town’s 3-3 draw with local rivals Cheltenham Town.

    Most of teh current good player from north of the border have already left or playing for the bigger clubs..and after the repretation MM got from Motherwell do you think he will get the good ones…DON’T THINK SO or well.

    He seems to be ok in his only reserve game but oviously he is to good for Muppets plans becaused he scored, so he got rid of him already!!!
