Swindon Town could be set to let a total of 7 players go out on loan or be released from the club.

Manager Paul Sturrock is desperate to reduce his clubs wage bill as the club looks to reduce the deficit the club is likely to face this season.

Ibon Arrieta, Franklin Anzite and Mauro Almeida are already locks to leave the County Ground should a suitable agreement be reached with the players, whilst Sam Collins looks as if he will return to Hull City after his loan spell ends this Saturday.

It is rumoured that Michael Pook, Kaid Mohamed and Chris Blackburn have all been made available for loan as well.

Blackburn could head back to Morecambe where he played last season and was a fan favourite. Blackburn was one of the key players at Morecambe who helped get Morecambe promoted to the Football League last season.

Kaid Mohamed was a prolific striker for Carmarthen Town in the Welsh Premier League and could go to Wrexham who were interested in signing Mohamed prior to this season, however because Mohamed spurned Wrexham`s offer they may not be too keen on signing him on a temporary basis.

Pook came up through the Centre Of Excellence at the County Ground however with the emergence of Craig Easton and Lee Peacock in midfield, Pook has not really had a chance to shine. It is rumoured Shrewsbury showed interest in the midfielder prior to this season so that could be a destination for the Swindon born midfielder.

Blair Sturrock and Steve Adams could also be set to go out on loan after being frozen out of the first team.
