Sky Sports News is now reporting that Oxford United have rejected a second bid from Swindon Town for striker James Constable.

Sky earlier stated that Constable had asked to speak to Swindon Town although we believe that to be wide of the mark.

An agent on Twitter has said Town’s initial bid was in excess of £175,000.

It is thought that Oxford would want atleast £350,000 for their top goal scorer.

Paolo Di Canio refused to comment on speculation linking Town with Constable saying he would not say anything unless he had a bid accepted for the player.
