During Yesterday’s game against Rotherham United, a familiar face stopped by. None other than Super Sammy Parkin came to the County Ground to cheer on his former team mates.

Parkin is currently out with a knee injury which has hampered his return from a broken ankle which he sustained earlier in the season.

Parkin was sold to Ipswich Town in the Summer for a rumoured £750,000.

During his time at Swindon, Parkin scored over 60 goals in 3 seasons and became a firm fan favourite among the County Ground faithful.
