Two Goals From Martin Butler sends the County Ground faithful home unhappy with a lacklustre performance by Swindon this afternoon against the Millers.

Player Ratings

Rhys Evans
Had some fine saves today. Kicking looks a lot better as of late.

Jack Smith
Strong at the back and had a few good tackles was one of the bright spots in an otherwise lacklustre game.

Andy Nicholas
Did ok seemed rushed at times but did put in some decent crosses.

Sean O’Hanlon
Fantastic game for O’Hanlon, lead by example and chipped in with his second goal of the campaign.

Jerel Ifil
Was ok, but didn’t play the way that has gained him a new contract for next season. Hopefully was just an off day. Was effective in the air. Is playing less hoof ball since the departure of Rory Fallon.

Ricky Shakes
An Off day for the Trinidad and Tobago international and tired quickly. Put in some decent crosses.

Stefani Miglioranzi
Did ok, but wasn’t his best game. Looked afraid to tackle.

Andy Gurney
An off day for the Bristolian. Gave the ball away too often and made clumsy challenges. Was substituted for the faster Albert Jarrett. Stormed off down the tunnel when he was substituted.

Aaron Brown
Did well got some crosses in. Was unlucky not to score before half time.

Lee Peacock
Usual self put in 110% all game, but didn’t look like scoring.

Jamie Cureton
Done well again. Scored Swindon’s opening goal and ran his socks off all game. Missed a couple of good chances but did put in some decent crosses as well. Couldn’t have done more.

Christian Roberts
Looked lively but also looked afraid to pass. Tried too hard to score and was a bit greedy.

Albert Jarrett
Tore through Rotherham’s midfield. A huge improvement on Gurney who had a dissapointing game.
Looked the Player he was at the beginning of the season.

Manager Rating
7/10 – Iffy Onuora – Saw Gurney was not doing well, listened to the fans who wanted him off and got on his back. Shook things up with three substitutions to try and salvage a point.

Opponent Rating
8/10 – Alan Knill – For a team that is in so much turmoil on and off the pitch he kept his team together well and encouraged them all game.

Faces In The Crowd
Sam Parkin and Matt Heywood were amongst the over 7,000 supporters to take in this game at the County Ground today.
