Former Hartlepool United player Matty Robson looks set to join Carlisle United according to media reports.
Robson, 24, was released by Chris Turner this summer and was swiftly linked to Swindon Town. Danny Wilson admitted that he had looked into the possibility of bringing the left sided player to the County Ground. However, Wilson indicated that he felt there were better options for him to pursue.
Matty Robson played 89 times for Hartlepool between 2002-2009.
