Swindon Town Striker Christian Roberts has been named the Coca Cola League Two Player of the Month.
Roberts has scored 2 goals so far this season and has blossomed under new manager Dennis Wise.
Wise has made it clear that should Roberts knock in 20 goals he will get a free holiday from Wise.
Wise is enjoying a fantastic season after several set backs since joining Swindon from local rivals Bristol City.
Former Swindon Town player Chris Kamara commented on Roberts selection as player of the month, ‘Making Christian Roberts vice-captain appears to have been a masterstroke by Dennis Wise. When he has been given the armband Christian’s game has improved no end and he really seems to be thriving on the extra responsibility. He is sure to have a big part to play in Swindon’s promotion push this season.’ Kamara said.
Izzy McLeod (MK Dons), Martin Butler (Walsall) and Jermaine Easter (Wycombe) were also short listed for the award.

Lets hope he doesn’t celebrate with a drink or two
Well deserved award, what I’ve seen of him on this form he will turn a defences inside out.
Roberts has been a totally different player this season
You certainly look as if you’ve got the fire power to get you out of this division.
