Swindon Town manager Maurice Malpas has revealed that he is hopeful of securing a pre-season friendly with FA Cup finalists Portsmouth.
Malpas made the revelation at last nights fans forum as well as announcing that the club will play away fixtures to Aldershot Town and Salisbury City.
The manager already stated previously that the club will play home fixtures to Plymouth Argyle and Cardiff City.
For the first time in many years Swindon Town look to have a decent pre-season lined up.
