Swindon Town end their League One away campaign with a draw against a poor Colchester United side who have given themselves hope now of avoiding relegation to League Two.

Former Town Loanee Jacob Murphy scored for the U’s after just 30 seconds after slotting home a ball from Gavin Massey past a returning Wes Foderingham.

The ever-improving Ben Gladwin thumped home a headed ball by Yaser Kasim to bring Town level but in truth it was a poor game with perhaps Town taking one foot off the gas with an eye on the playoffs.

Town’s recent form is a cause for concern heading into the final game of the season against Leyton Orient on Sunday before starting their play-off campaign a week Thursday.
