Swindon Town manager Dennis Wise has re-iterated that the club had agreed a fee to sign goalkeeper Peter Brezovan when he came in on loan from FC Brno in the summer.

Speaking after training Wise said “When I first signed Peter I spoke to his agent and there is something agreed with the club (FC Brno) that we can buy him”

“There`s a price in there (in the agreement) an agreed price that was put in there to look after the club and look after the player”

Wise also stated that a few clubs from the Premiership have been keeping eyes on the Slovakian keeper and that signing him now would be a worthwhile investment. “He`s an asset” Wise said, “He`s someone that maybe in the future, we don`t progress, they (the board) could sell for a lot of money, whether they wish to do it is another thing”

Brezovan endeared himself to fans right away with two penalty saves in his league debut for Swindon in a 1-0 win over Hartlepool.

The Red Army Fund, a fund set up by the Swindon Town supporters Trust and the Swindon Town Supporters Club has made the club aware that funds are available to help any permanent signing of Brezovan.

Brezovan broke his arm during Swindon`s 3-0 win over Grimsby Town on Saturday after he landed awkwardly.
