Swindon Town manager Maurice Malpas told the media prior to Saturday’s match against Crewe that he has began contract talks with Lee Peacock and Miguel Comminges.
Peacock has stated several times that he is keen to put pen to paper on a new deal at the County Ground and wants to end his career in Swindon where he currently has a home.
Peacock will almost certainly accept an extended deal to remain in Wiltshire.
Comminges was signed by former boss Paul Sturrock in the Summer and has played brilliantly this season.
Comminges performances have earned him an international callup as well as cult status amongst the County Ground faithful.
We hope both players sign new contracts soon as they both provide a solid base in midfield and in defence.
