Vital Swindon interview Vital Chelsea prior to our big match at the County Ground.

1. So the Special One is back, how do you feel and will the magic return?

Off course it will but people are so impatient. Jose is a Chelsea legend and I was overjoyed to see him come back. He has a style of his own and he brings something special to English football.

2. Playing a lower league side, do you expect to rest many of your first team regulars?

Jose has already stated that he will rotate his squad, mind you it is big enough to do so. But whilst some key figures will be missing, expect the starting eleven to still be very strong and a very stiff test for your side.

3. The Capital One Cup must be a competition Chelsea expect to do well in, Do you think the result is a forgone conclusion?

No, never take anything for granted. David has slain Goliath too many times. In his first spell at Chelsea, Jose won the League Cup and used it to instill a winning mentality in the squad. He might just be looking to do something similar with the new additions to the squad.

4. Rumours have David Luiz and Juan Mata starting on Tuesday. Who else do you expect to start for Chelsea?

Mata and Luiz will start and I also expect to see Azpilicueta, Bertrand and Torres start. Jose may also give our young Dutchman, Van Ginkel a start as well. The vetean keeper, Mark Schwarzer will be between the posts.

5. What do you know about Swindon Town?

Very little unfortunately, apart from the fact it was where we poached Glen Hoddle from when he came to Chelsea and started the revolution that saw the club become what it is now.

6. Do you have any particular Swindon Town V Chelsea memories?

Lol – unfortunately no! Did our paths cross in the Simod Cup some time ago?

7. What area concerns you the most at Chelsea?

At the moment our fragile confidence! Last week we were comfortable against FC Basel and the when the Swiss side equalized you could see from the players reactions that they knew we`d concede again. Heaven help us if Swindon score first!

8. Do fans view this match as a potential banana skin?

I do, I never take anything for granted, I`m old school and I`ve seen us come a cropper too many times in the dark old days, in cup competitions.

9. Swindon Town play an attractive style of football on the ground, what style of football has Jose Mourinho preferred thus far?

Resilient, careful and a little stoic – at the moment!

10. What are your predictions for the match?

I`ll go for 2-0 to Chelsea.

Thanks to the lads over at Vital Chelsea for taking time to answer our questions.
