Nicolau Joins Barnet

Nicky Nicolau who was on trial at League 2 side Barnet has impressed enough to land a permanent deal.

Nicolau who joined from newly promoted Southend United last season made 6 appearances at the County Ground including 3 starts.

Nicolau’s season was cut short by a hernia operation and was later sent on loan to get match fitness at Hereford United.

Then manager Iffy Onuora had decided Nicolau had not done enough during his loan spell to earn a new contract and released the midfielder.
