JUDGEMENT DAY #1: The rules are simple. If Leeds United win, they are up. If Leeds draw or lose, either Millwall or Swindon can go up if they win. If all 3 fail to win then it gives Charlton Athletic a chance too.
Talking to BBC Radio Wiltshire, Danny Wilson compared this season to last years debacle ‘…you’ve just got to enjoy it. I’d certainly rather be in our position than fighting against relegation.’
MILLWALL Team News:
Millwall’s former Stevenage Borough forward Steve Morison could miss out with a hamstring injury. Swindon Town flop Gary Alexander could deputise.
Millwall side that lost 2-0 at Tranmere last week:
XI: Forde, Robinson, Smith, Frampton, Barron, D. Ward, Trotter, Abdou, Hackett, Harris, Morison.
Subs: Grabban, Sullivan, Alexander, Obika, Grimes, Fuseini, Laird.
Player to watch: NEIL HARRIS
He was involved in an on pitch bust-up with Town’s Kevin Amankwaah at the County Ground this season when several allegations were made.
The Millwall legend will be very much up for this fixture.
SWINDON TOWN Team News:
Alan O’Brien is back in the fold after returning from a long term on the sidelines.
Kurt Hammonds has sat out of the whole season thus far and this shall continue tomorrow.
Vincent Pericard is likely to miss out but will be back for the Play-Offs (if not promoted automatically).
Other than that, Danny Wilson is operating with a reasonably fit side.
Town side that beat Brentford 3-2 last week:
XI: Lucas, Darby, Sheehan, Lescinel, Greer, Easton, McGovern, Douglas, Ward, Nouble, Paynter.
Subs: Austin, Smith, O’Brien, Timlin, Cuthbert, Amankwaah, Ferry.
Player to watch: PAYNTER/AUSTIN
Town’s deadly duo need to get their lucky goalscoring boots on as the trip to The New Den will not be easy.
For Swindon to have any remote chance of promotion then they need these two to convert any chance given to them.
