Bob Holt has left Swindon Town F.C after comments made by manager Dennis Wise after last nights 1-1 draw at Wycombe.
Statement From Swindon Town FC
Swindontownfc.co.uk can confirm that Bob Holt has this afternoon resigned from his position of non-executive director.
The 57-year old had been a member of the Town Board since 2001 but following comments made before last night’s draw at Wycombe Wanderers, Holt offered his resignation in a letter to the Board and has now departed from his duties at SN1.
Holt had fulfilled a number of roles during his County Ground tenure, including a spell as Chief Executive.
The club would like to place on record their appreciation for all Bob’s hard work and wish him every success for the future.

Don’t think Wisey was a happy chappy, and quite rightly so, you say something in confidence to someone and they blurt it out to the media. I’m concerned this is another unsettling episode for Wisey.
The fans need to get behind wisey and the team and let them know that we are all behind them.
Agreed we need to unite as one “Dennis Wise Barmy Army!
Dennis is ace. I would be absolutely gutted if he decided to leave.
I think everyone on the supporters side can’t help being behind him, he’s turned us around, but the in-fighting of the board has rocked the boat. I think the Wills family deserve better support from their colleagues on the board….where would be if not for them, probably even lower than Oxford and thats as low as a snakes belly.
