According to the Hartlepool Mail, Hartlepool United hope to sign Swindon Town’s midfidelder Andy Monkhouse on a permanent deal.
Hartlepool United boss Danny Wilson has been pleased with Monkhouse who has helped revive Hartlepool and has been instrumental in helping Wilson’s men go unbeaten in 9 games.
Speaking to the Mail Wilson said he hoped to have signed Monkhouse in the next 24-48 hours.
Monkhouse has scored 3 times for Hartlepool and has become and instant hit with the fans.
In other news Swindon Town manager Paul Sturrock has stated he has agreed a fee with a club for a player however his name will not be released until a contract is signed by the player in question.
