The following quote is from a January 28 2011 press release on the official Swindon Town website regarding Czech defender Milan Mi?ůn:
‘The 20-year-old joins shortly after leaving Scottish Premier League side Celtic and has signed a two-and-a-half year contract.’
I’ll narrow it down:
‘…after leaving Scottish Premier League side Celtic and has signed a two-and-a-half year contract.’
I’ll break it down:
‘…has signed a two-and-a-half year contract.’
So that’s Mi?ůn being documented on the official Swindon Town website as having ‘left Celtic’ and signing a ‘two-and-a-half year contract.’ Right. Phew. Are we all understood? Good.
So imagine Swindon Town supporters surprise when interim Jeremey Wray is quoted as saying that defender Mi?ůn has NOT signed a deal with the club and his Town future is very much in up in the air!
Vital Swindon believed that the recent omission of Mi?ůn’s name from a recent official publication of the contract players list was an error.
However, Jeremey Wray has been quoted by the Advertiser as saying that ‘Mi?ůn’s situation is a difficult one because he has never been under contact at the club.’
Never been under contract? The Advertiser states that the former Celtic man had ‘reportedly’ signed despite there being a plain and clear message from the official site saying that he had signed!
WHAT IS GOING ON!?!
Milan Mi?ůn has been injured throughout his short career and has not played a single game.
