The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Shrewsbury Town this weekend.

Swindon Town travel to Shrewsbury Town on Saturday December 19 for the game at Greenhous Meadow and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Jeremy Simpson
Linesmen: Nick Hobbis and Christopher Ward
Fourth Official: Paul Thompson

Match Day referee Simpson (Lancashire) is yet to officiate a Swindon game this season.

He has however already taken in eighteen other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 64 yellow cards and two red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Bradford City and Port Vale on August 29 with a total of seven yellows being shown. He also showed seven yellows in the game between Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest on October 31.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
