The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Port Vale this weekend.

Swindon Town travel to Port Vale on Saturday January 2 for the game at Vale Park and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: David Coote
Linesmen: Duncan Street and Helen Byrne
Fourth Official: James Mainwaring

Match Day referee Coote (Nottinghamshire) is yet to officiate a Swindon game this season.

He has however already taken in fifteen other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 60 yellow cards and two red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Burton Albion and Port Vale on October 24 with a total of six yellows being shown plus two reds. He also showed eight yellows in the game between Ipswich and Cardiff on October 31.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
