Eastleigh winger Mark Marshall who may now be a target for Swindon Town has joined cash-strapped League 2 side Bournemouth on trial.
Marshall was keen on a move to the County Ground after impressing Town boss Maurice Malpas whilst on trial earlier late last month.
Malpas had turned his attention to other targets and had Kevin Betsy joined the County Ground outfit, Marshall’s chance at a contract was pretty much over.
Marshall impressed Cherries Boss Kevin Bond during a friendly between the 2 clubs and has now been given the chance to earn a contract at Bournemouth.
Swindon may still be favourites to land the Eastleigh star due to his agent Fitzroy Simpson having strong links with Town as a player and due to the club being able to offer League One Football.
