Swindon Town acting chairman Jeremy Wray has today dismissed reports the club have made an offer for League Two’s top goalscorer Izale McLeod, speaking to the STFC Official website Wray said, ‘It would show great disrespect to unsettle a player when we have such important games coming up with them.’

Town have also confirmed they have signed Wes Foderingham on a Two and a Half year contract after agreeing a fee with Crystal Palace.

Wray alson confirmed Town’s interest in Luke Rooney telling the BBC Sport website. ‘He’s stuck out for Gillingham this season and he’s somebody we are pursuing,’

‘For whatever reason he’s decided he’s come to the end of his time at Gillingham and obviously they’ve got to do best by them to make sure they get the best price,’

Sky Sports News is reporting that Town are interesting in striker Anthony Elding who has scored 9 goals for Conference side Grimsby Town. Elding doesn’t seem interested in a move stating he was reluctant to uplift his family.
