Vital Quotes:

‎’We go to Wembley not as tourists but as warriors singing our own song’
Swindon Town Boss Paolo Di Canio 7/2/2012

‘To go to Wembley and rise to the occasion, get a trophy, would give us a lift. If we can do that I’m sure it will stand us in good stead for the tough games we’ve got remaining.’

Chesterfield Boss John Sheridan

Chesterfield Team News:

Neal Trotman, former Swindon Town loanee Liam Ridehalgh and Nicky Ajose are unavailable for selection due to being cup tied. Jimmy Juan and Gregor Robertson are available for selection after training in the week. Chesterfield come into the match on the heels of a 2-0 defeat to Huddersfield in the week. Chesterfield are hoping the ‘gap’ of class between League One and League Two will result in a Chesterfield win. One would argue Chesterfield are still League Two standard after sitting near the bottom of League One all season. Chesterfield will wear Blue and be backed by around 18,000 supporters.

Player to watch: Jack Lester

Whilst Lester is not as prolific as he once was, he still has the talent to pull something special out of the back and Wembley could be place he does that.

Swindon Town Team News:

Luke Rooney will not feature due to him being cup tied. Alessandro Cibocchi is fit following a foot injury in the week. Paul Caddis could face a late fitness test. Joe McEveley and John Bostock joined Town on loan in the week and are both available as well as Lee Holmes who is on loan from Southampton. Swindon Town will be wearing red and backed by 30,000 supporters.

Player to watch: Matt Ritchie

Ritchie needs to get back to his best, Town will receive a massive boost if Caddis is fit, No question we have missed the link up play between Caddis and Ritchie.
