Redknapp told Di Canio he would help him out with players and now thats happened with a cracking last minute signing before the emergency loan window shut.

Swindon Town have secured the services of highly rated midfielder John Bostock from Spurs.

Bostock is an England Under 19 international and has recently been on loan at League One side Sheffield Wednesday.

On 6 November 2008 Bostock made his competitive match debut in the 2008 UEFA Cup game for Spurs against Dinamo Zagreb, coming on as a substitute, and becoming the youngest player ever to play for Spurs at 16 years 295 days.

Bostock has taken the number 14 shirt and is available for Sunday’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy final at Wembley Stadium.

    Potentially he is a very good player and signing. He is primarily an attack minded CM or someone to play behind a main striker. This boy needs games and a shot of confidence. Give him both and you might just see a very good player
