BBC Radio Swindon has said that Jim Little formerly of Cork City F.C will take over day to day running at Swindon Town.

A new Portuguese based consortium took over majority control of the football club in the early hours of Wednesday morning however no names have yet been revealed about who is going to be running the club.

Little had previously been a major invester in Cork City F.C. Cork City Football Club are one of the most successful clubs in the Eircom League of Ireland.

The report of Little taking over at the club has yet to be confirmed by the football club.

In other news administrator Andrew Andronikou expects the club to pay the overdue £900,000 CVA payment to be made in the next few days effectively making the club free of any historical debts.
