Sky Sports is reporting that Swindon Town have tabled a bid for Wycombe Wanderers striker Jermaine Easter who would more than solve the clubs striker crisis.

Easter is one of the lower leagues most highly rated players and a move to League One may prove to be enough to lure Easter to move away from Wycombe.

MK Dons have apparently made a bid as well however a move up divisions could prove to be the final say on whether Easter leaves Wycombe.

Easter scored 17 goals in all competitions last season for the choirboys and would be a fantastic signing for the club.

It would appear that new investment is close at Swindon Town as reported towards the end of the week as the club would have to pay a large fee to land the player.
