Jermey Wray is no longer chairman of Swindon Town Football Club.

In shocking news, Wray has been replaced by Sir William Patey as chairman.

The Swindon Advertiser is stating they do not believe Patey will be investing in the club.

Patey previously held roles as British Ambassador to Sudan, Afghanistan and Iraq.

Wray took over from former chairman Andrew Fitton last April when the club were relegated to League Two and saw the club steer through a tough time to win the League Two title.

There is a statement expected from the club later on today.
