It’s Fallon V Howard

It’s 2 former Swindon Town player’s Rory Fallon and Brian Howard in the League One Playoff Final.

Howard who now plays for Barnsley left SN1 last season after the club deemed him surplus to requirement’s and moved up North. Howard’s Barnsley defeated Huddersfield Town 3-2 on Aggregate and now face Rory Fallon and Swansea City in the League One Playoff final.

Fallon scored 14 goals for Swindon this season, before a lucrative �300,000 move to Liberty Stadium in January. Fallon’s form dipped after the move but has shown steady improvement as of late by re-finding his goal scoring form.

Both Howard and Fallon were instrumental in Swindon Town’s recent playoff appearance in the 2003/04 season where Swindon were eliminated by Brighton and Hove Albion in the Division 2 playoff semi final.

Should Swansea win it will be the second consecutive season the club has won promotion.

Should Barnsley win it will be the first time since 2002 the club has played at the Championship level.
