Non League side Farsley Celtic have signed former Swindon Town loan signing Colin Heath.

Heath who was on loan at the time from Premiership giants Manchester United, arrived at the County Ground with goalkeeper Tom Heaton during the rubbish 2005-06 League One campaign which saw Town relegated to League Two.

Heath who had big expectations before joining Town only scored one goal for Swindon in eleven starts before manager Iffy Onuora saw that Heath was pretty poor and relegated him to the bench.

Heath spent last season at Macclesfield Town after predictably being released by Manchester United.

Heath will now be playing rubbish sides like Oxford and Rushden in the Blue Square Conference Premier infront of home crowds of about 500 where as only 2 season’s ago he was playing alongisde Alan Smith in Manchester United’s reserve side.
